NERVD — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This policy explains what information NERVD collects, why, and what your choices are. Short version: we collect only what the game needs, we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted.

What we collect

Without an account: nothing personal. Game preferences, personal bests, and settings are stored only on your device (browser storage). They never leave it.

With an account: when you sign in with Google or email, we store your email address, your display name, and (if you set one) an avatar image. As you play, we store your verified game results — mode, difficulty, scores, timestamps — plus XP, streak, and achievements. This is what powers leaderboards, stats, and cross-device sync.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or anything from your device beyond what's listed above. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics services.

Where it lives

Account data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) on servers in the United States. The app itself is served by Vercel. If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy governs that sign-in.

Who can see what

Your display name, avatar, and scores appear on public leaderboards visible to other players. Your email address is never shown to anyone. We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own use.

Children

NERVD accounts require users to be at least 13 years old, and NERVD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it. Parents: contact us at the address below with any concerns.
